The stage is set, the sound system working and the bunting all burned and ready to be strung up. Shanti will pull on her riding boots and open the doors to HQ at 2 o’clock sharp and Bingo Brown and her gang will be out on the street with a jumble of ex lovers crap and a dishonesty box. She says to tell everyone to bring their ex lovers junk too and add to the pile.
Gold Peg will kick things off at 2:30 with a disruptive smash up out on the street. After that we have a great line up of poets, wordsmiths and shakers: Angel Zatorski, Silvia Ziranek, Betsy de Lotbiniere, Viv Albertine, Sabrina Mahfouz, Jade Montserrat… Then at 5 o’clock it will be time to get back on the street and smash the patriarchy with artist Rachael House. Lots of interesting people will be here and there will objects of wonder and dissent to see and buy from artists and makers, so bring your friends, bring your cash and come down to to HQ this Saturday afternoon.
We will have gin and wine and beers and even something non alcoholic for the prohibition supporters and the underage amongst us as well as a lush and laden table of fine food by the ingeneous Sanchia Lovell.
